Hi, I am Rudraksh Karpe, an aspiring software developer with a passion for learning and contributing to open source.
When I was 14, I had my first interaction with my uncles’ computer. The mere act of navigating between operating systems ignited a spark of curiosity within me that has continued to burn bright. When I first participated in Hacktoberfest 2020, the world of open source captivated me. As I dove deeper into this world, I was introduced to the power of collaborative software development. This led me to participate in various open-source programs and ultimately become a mentee in the Season of KDE 2023 (SoK’23). The ability to work with a diverse community of developers to create innovative solutions is what drives my passion for technology.
Last year my team ranked in the top 5 teams on the Hack Squad leaderboard during Hacktoberfest making 126+ contributions to various organizations. Contributing to open-source has become a source of joy for me. Apart from that I am serving as a student chair at the IEEE student branch at my university.
I am currently pursuing B.Tech in CSE at GHRCEM, Pune as a 3rd-year undergrad, where my friends know me for enthusiasm, and my teachers know me for my perseverance and reliability.
